Door Installation Procedures
WALL POSITIONING (90° / 180°)
Betcrete Frames are suitable to
be positioned centre, inside or outside flush. It is recommended
that all external frames (opening out) be installed with door stops.

SETTING UP PROCEDURE

A. FOR CAST IN ONE
8/2100 & 9/2100 & 13/2100 DOORFRAMES
|
- Ensure doorframe is in position (
Square and plump)
- Use Temporary timber supports
(supplied by Builder) and (refundable) Templates (as per
illustration)
- After brickwork is dry, remove
support and templates.

B. FOR 17/2100
DOORFRAMES
|
-
Place applicable (Refundable) jig
within door frame. Clamp styles onto jig supplied
with g-clamps.

Adjust T-stay until plumb in all
directions.

Place transom (top piece) in
position and align inside rebate on door side.
-
Bend out lugs and proceed with
brickwork, filling mortar between frame and
brickwork.
-
The reusable jigs must be kept in
position until brickwork above the transom is dry.
