| The DERBIGUM CG covered grade range of products is based upon the Derbigum SP concept of dual reinforced waterproofing systems, designed and manufactured in South Africa for South African conditions. The DERBIGUM CG has been adapted and enhanced to meet the specific requirements for waterproofing in buried and covered situations. |

| The same proven APP-modified bitumen matrix as used in DERBIGUM SP has been integrated with a composite core of polyester and fibreglass. This composite carrier imparts high tensile strength and dimensional stability. It is positioned at the centre of the sheet's thickness which results in greater flexibility and ease of torching on either side of the sheet. In the two layer CG system this assures homogenous bonding, both at laps and to each other. |
CG4 Root-resistant: DERBIGUM CG is available, upon request, with root growth inhibitors added into the APP matrix. |

In a tanking or buried situation, the CG System should be specified as a two layer combination, comprising one layer CG3 and one layer CG4, fully bonded either by means of torch fusion or cold bitumen adhesive (Coldbond 90),
so as to provide your best protection.
Depending on the circumstances and limited risk requirements, either Derbigum CG4 or CG3 may be used in a single layer application.
Because of it's many attributes, together with it's excellent resistance to tear,
CG3 performs as an ideal underlay for DERBIGUM CG4 generally, or DERBIGUM SP4
in Roofing situations.
