Description
Deckshield ED is a BBA approved solvent free polyurethane flexible car park deck coating system which provides a colourful crack bridging, waterproof wearing surface for use over exposed decks of multi-storey car parks.

Uses
To cosmetically enhance, reduce noise and waterproof multi-storey car parks world wide.  Deckshield makes multi-storey car parks lighter, safer environments to visit.  Deckshield is suitable for refurbishment of existing cap parks an on new construction projects.

Substrate Requirements
Concrete slabs and screeds should be a minimum of 25 N/mm², free from laitance, dust and other contamination. Substrate should be dry to 75% RH as per BS8204.

Resistance to cracking
No failure of Deckshield membrane at 2.5mm crack width, which exceeds the normal BS8110: Part 1; 1985 design parameter of 0.3mm.

Complies with BS 8204-6/FeRFA category 5.

Environmental considerations
The finished system is assessed as non-hazardous to health and the environment. The long service life and seamless surface reduce the need for repairs, maintenance and cleaning.
Environmental and health considerations are controlled during manufacture and application of the products by Flowcrete staff and fully trained and experienced contractors.

Aftercare - Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean regularly using a single or double headed rotary scrubber drier in conjunction with a mildly alkaline detergent. Refer to Flowcrete Cleaning and Maintenance Datasheet.
