Description
Flowtex HT is a hard wearing, epoxy mortar Screeding Compound. A
solvent free epoxy hand trowelled screed system available in a range of colours.
Applied at 6-7mm.
Uses
Ideal for use in heavy duty
industrial environments and dry process areas where the floor is subject to
heavy traffic, impact and chemical spills.

Specification for Flooring Screeds
Flowtex HT epoxy screed to be laid 6mm-7mm thick onto previously prepared
and primed surfaced all in accordance with the manufacturer's detailed
instructions. Installation by an applicator trained and approved by
Flowcrete South Africa.
Installation Service
The installation should be carried out by a Flowcrete approved contractor
with a documented quality assurance scheme. Obtain details of our approved

Substrate Requirements
Concrete slabs and screeds should have a good wood float finish conforming
in evenness and level to the required tolerance, with a minimum compressive
strength of 20mPa, with screeds of a minimum thickness of 40mm. All
screeds must be free from damp and all contamination. Profile screed with
shot blasting or scarified.

Environmental considerations
The finished system is assessed as non-hazardous to health and the
environment. The long service life and seamless surface reduce the need for
repairs, maintenance and cleaning.
Environmental and health considerations are controlled during manufacture and
application of the products by Flowcrete staff and fully trained and experienced
contractors.

Aftercare - Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean regularly using a single or double headed rotary scrubber drier in
conjunction with a mildly alkaline detergent.

results or some change after long term contact
