Advantages using ISOBOARD®

How is ISOBOARD® installed as a nailed up ceiling?
  
-   Battens to be spaced at ± 600 mm, max 700 mm centres, a batten is required against each wall.
-   ISOBOARD® with tongue-and-groove profiles bevelled at 100mm centres are fitted from wall to wall.
-   Apply 5ml "blobs" of adhesive, spaced at ± 200mm centres to timber brandering and 7.5 m double sided tape to seel brandering before fixing boards.
-   Fix the first board, tongue side towards the wall, with posidrive screws and washers at ± 300 mm to edge batten, then fix ceiling clips to each batten on the groove side. Fit second board into place.
- Use standard cornices to finish off edges.
-   ISOBOARD® to be painted with two coats of good quality acrylic PVA paint.
-   For lamp fittings with globe near ISOBOARD®, use low energy lamps with a maximum temperature 70°C. 
Downlighters with adjustable globes are recommended.
