Installation
Marley Eclipse should be installed in accordance with
British
Standard 8203: 2001. Subfloors must be smooth, hard, clean and dry before
laying. Uneven, solid or suspended timber subfloors may need preparation
to meet the required standard. An effective DPM must be included in concrete
subfloors next to the ground. In underfloor heating applications, the
surface of the subfloor should not exceed 27°C. Marley Eclipse sheet must
be allowed to relax for 24 hours in a room temperature between 18°C and
25°C prior to installation. Marley Eclipse should be hot air seam welded
using Marley Welding Rod and perimeter sealed for a smooth, hygienic,
impervious finish in GSws locations. Marley Eclipse should be installed
using the appropriate Marley recommended adhesive, Marley Embond 170,
Marley Embond 168, Marley Embond 212, Marley Embond 138 (for hot climates)
and Marley Embond 401.
