NexBac
Component Layers

A thermally bonded, spunlaid, nonwoven primary backing with a
polyester core and nylon 6 skin. This is also used as the primary backing system for Nexus patterned carpets.
It provides NexBac
with its unrivalled dimensional stability, excellent pile anchorage
and pile orientation, with reduced visibility of joins.
A latex pre-coat gives the tile its stiffness, locking in fibre tufts and preventing fraying.
Bitumen adds mass, enhances dimensional stability and prevents
buckling or bending.
A
glass fibre scrim acts like steel in concrete reinforcing the structural stability of the tile.
A
