| Flush Panel Doors |
| Pelican Systems’ flush panel architectural doors are manufactured using only the highest standard of quality raw materials. All our veneers and door finishes for specific projects are colour and grain matched ensuring consistency of finish. Pelican Systems also manufacture fire doors and other purpose made doors, which enables Architects and Interior Designers to ensure that all the doors used on a project are finished with the same high standard of quality veneers and finishes. Pelican Systems carry a comprehensive range of stock doors of the more popular sizes and finishes. |
| Non-standard doors are available on a made to order basis and can be custom made to Architects and Interior Designers specifications subject to standard lead times. |
| Satellite Doors |
| Recently launched and exclusive to Pelican Systems, the Satellite range of timber doors is available in semi solid core or solid core construction. With five different glazed view panel features to choose from, this range of doors offers an aesthetically pleasing and cost effective alternative to the conventional partition sidelight. This attractive solution can lead to considerable savings on your next project whilst still addressing the practical requirements of the traditional sidelight. The glazed feature panels are constructed and glazed according to the National Building Regulations with matching timber hardwood frames to suite the selected door face finish. The Satellite range of doors is available in any of the finishes available from Pelican Systems and can be supplied in standard height or full height door options. |

| Lead Lined Doors |
| Pelican Systems offers a range of Lead lined doors ideally suited for hospitals and X-ray rooms. Doors are of solid core construction with a 2 mm thick lead lining laminated into the door leaf. The Lead lined doors are available in any of the finishes available from Pelican Systems and can be supplied in standard height or full height options. |

| Pelican Systems also provide the service of manufacturing special purpose made doors to suite your specific requirements, including but not limited to hinged doors, pivot doors, sliding doors, sliding folding doors, security doors and glazed doors. |

| All 2 700 mm high stock doors come with a standard 210 mm bottom rail which allows for resizing of doors down to 2 550 mm. Non-standard door sizes can be made to order subject to prevailing lead times. |

| Pelican Systems flush panel timber doors are available in 3 different core constructions, depending on your door requirements and budget. These are namely, hollow core, semi-solid core and solid core construction. |
| HOLLOW CORE CONSTRUCTION |

| Doors are a nominal 40mm thick. Inner frames are constructed of SA pine with lock blocks to one side only. Door cores are constructed of expanded paper. Door edges are either exposed SA pine or concealed hardwood. Door faces are made up of a suitable board substrate for painting or decoration with the required decorative finish. |

| SEMI-SOLID CORE CONSTRUCTION |
| Doors are a nominal 40mm thick. Inner frames are constructed of SA pine with two horizontal rails for extra stability and lock blocks to both sides of the door. Door cores are constructed of medium density fibre board cross grids. Door edges are generally solid matching hardwood. Door faces are made up of a suitable board substrate for painting or decoration with the required decorative finish. |

| Doors are a nominal 40mm thick. Door cores are constructed with solid chipboard sheets. Door edges are generally solid matching hardwood. Door faces are made up of a suitable board substrate for painting or decoration with the required decorative finish. |
| Handling & Storage |
| All Pelican Systems timber doors are despatched from the factory pre-wrapped in protective packaging with timber support blocks to protect the bottom edge of the doors from damage. To ensure your doors remain in the same state of quality as they left the factory we recommend the following on site handling tips: |
