WATERBASED ACRYLIC CONDUCTIVE ADHESIVE QAR 273 (A)

USES
QAR 273 (A) is designed for bonding conductive P.V.C. and textile floor coverings to suitably prepared concrete and screeded substrates.

CHARACTERISTICS
The OHM resistance of this adhesive as measured on non-conductive substrate (DIN- 53276) lies between 50 and 100 KOHMs. This value is sufficient for conductive electronics discharge.

PREPARATION
The substrate must be even, dry, sound and free of loose particles. Pitted or rough areas must be smoothed with a good quality smoothing compound plus hardener. For proper application certain precautions must be taken. Absorbent and dusty surfaces must be treated with QAR 231 (a) sealer. When conductive floor coverings are laid the floor must contain a gnd of copper strips, suitably secured and earthed.

APPLICATION
QAR 273 (A) must be stirred before use and applied evenly with a notched trowel to the substrate. Notches must be 2.0 X 2.0 X 2.0mm spaced 5mm for textiles.

Notches must be 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5mm spaced 5mm for P.V.C. installations. Allow flash-off period of 10 minutes for textiles and 20 minutes for P.V.C. installation and press down firmly.
Coverage 3 - 4m² per litre.

PRECAUTIONS
To avoid faulty bonding, room and adhesive temperature should not be below 15°C.
