| Soiling
of a carpet is a result of a build up of dust and accumulated dirt
or other particles. With an effective maintenance programme this can
be minimised. Spotting and staining of a carpet is potentially far more serious and requires prompt action to remove the spillage as well as the proper application of the correct cleaning materials to eliminate the possibility of a permanent stain. Most Nexus carpets, especially those intended for heavy commercial use, are manufactured from Stainproof Miracle Fibre. However, we only use a variety of fibres in the construction of other ranges intended for light or medium commercial installation. Nexus carpets that are manufactured from Stainproof Miracle Fibre offer outstanding stain resistance. Most stains on these carpets can be removed with an equal mix of clear household bleach and water for easy maintenance of the carpet's beautiful appearance. Different fibres are used in the manufacture of other Nexus carpets. Generally these fibres call for the use of gentler cleaning methods to remove ordinary spots and stains.
